Do any of you know anything about SLOWDIVE?

For my personal interest. I've encountered it breifly a number of times; usuallly late at night when all concerned, including myself, have been a little damaged.
It probably suits the more downer kind among you in particular.

Hey Mr. Eddy....
Slowdive were ok.....they seemed to be the most brittle amongst the whole late 80's/early 90's "shoegazer" genre, i.e. My Bloody Valentine, Curve, Medicine, etc. Try their '93/'94 release Souvlaki....and if you like what you hear then seek out the debut, Just For A Day('91).

I geuss you'll fit in fairly well then, although I'm also fairly new.
