The Look OF Eldritch
Posted: 29 Nov 2006, 20:50
by Arch Deviant
I know there has been polls on which line-up has been the most popular but I was thinking about the 'image/looks' he has had over the years, from Cape & Hat to his most recent 'Chrome' look, and wondered what has been the most popular within this forum.
I can't figure out how to post pics
(Scotty?) so I will describe my fav look as being he 'Greasy greebo leather look just before Hussey joined. Long lank hair, beard and mirror shades.
Anyone else have their fav?

As opposed to his "faux raver with cancer" look.

I never noticed that earring before. Looks quite goth, isn't it?

The 'now you see him now you don't' look when he's stood on a stage a few feet away, obliterated by fog and retina-fcuking lights, giving it his all.
Otherwise the Dominion look, obviously.

Oh-oh. WBB, you're surely onto something there...
Now here's one for the girls:
Isn't that the archetypical goth posterboy?

my favourites are post-punk from 1983 and Gothic Overlord from 1987
but the current image is fun - Andrew almost says: "Ha-ha, sod off", looking this one -
though i'd prefer him to wear a hair - just an army haircut, something like 1993

Although i like the Heino Warhol Astronaut-look, I suggest the Gay Nazi Anton LaVey Cop look.

The "Dominion" look was good fun.
Also partial to the Amish-axe-murderer look from the Sisterhood era.

"I put on my cloak and wizards hat"
Any time he's wearing a novelty coat - the gold lame dressing gown, the Red Cross orange thing etc. The Technicolour Dream Coat from Porto in 2001 was a definite winner
Worst look ever - cnuting M*nc Utd scarf tied round his waist
(edited for appalling lack of typing skills)

Well in my case it depends on the levels of hormones on a given day. His various looks fit respective levels. Madonna is better at it though, as she also has the looks that fit the transitions.
