I was watching my Xmas pressie of the Metallica videos last night and noticed on the video for 'Nothing Else Matters' old Kirky boy is wearing a girls t shirt. Shocked? I even paused it.

Anybody know what thats all about? Apologies if this has been raised before.

The man obviously has taste, dreadful 'hair' but a good choice in tee-shirts.

He came out relatively unscathed from that Some Kind of Monster sh*tefest didn't he?

I was watching Nash bridges the other day and the dodgy chinese gambling house had Ministry's version of Lay, Lady, Lay playing

Off Topic already?

Relatively's the word. I recall the scene where he has to go to this course for people booked for drunk driving and ended up singing an impromptu blues song at the end. That was definitely a cringe moment. Other than that, Kirk rocks. Hearing his trademark style for the first time on 'Kill 'Em All' made me want to play solos (something I rarely do, these days, though; I'm more into song writing now).

Apparently, according to my Metallica guru, KH has been quite big on TSOM for quite a white, and he seems the most decent out of that band, or at least seems to have the least ego! :notworthy:

"Dear Mr.Hammet!
Wiewing your "Live s**t: Binge & Purge"-videos I noticed
that you were wearing a Mercyful Release T-shirt. The
Question is, are you a Sisters of Mercy fan?
If so, you should all get your genious heads togheter.
That would be something wouldn't it?

Kirk: Yes, I love Sisters of Mercy. Andrew Eldritch contacted
me about doing something, but I don't have the time."

Well, you obviously haven't heard about the 'Casual Friday' Metallica always has at their HQ, where everyone's required to wear hawaiian shirts. Really, they do that! ;D

only problem is that KH wouldn't be able to cope with a drum machine as opposed to a halfpint gobsh!te spouting off all the time!

Seconded. Though he'd have to sort that squeaky voice out for the tour of Yorkshire's Working Mens Clubs.

Kirk Hammett in, ok, but then with a moustache and wet look hair.

Dee Snider on 2nd guitar.

Let Nurse give a call to Jan Hammer and ask him if he has a drum module that likes to be named "Dok".

One of Martin Revs machines can do drums. Dave Brock can handle rhythm guitar, Roger Mcguinn can do the jingly jangly stuff, Massive Attack can do some atmospherics and has to be Lemmy on bass. Probably take a lot of smoke to hide all those hippys though

Nah, a better option would be:

Lemmy : Bass.
Slash : Guitar.
Zakk Wylde: Guitar.

Blixa Bargeld: Kazoo

There's also a Sisters t-shirt in here:

But it's such a s**t video that you have to ask yourself if it's worth the pain.

When I first read this topic I actually thought it was meant to mean Kirk Hammett had a proper girl's (as in, make-up wearing, perfume wearing, actual female) t-shirt on on the DVD.

How stupid. No wonder I haven't looked again till now.

Anyway, I had no idea he was a Sisters fan & I love Metallica! I'm happy now.
