Yes indeed, Love was in the air for a brief and highly charged moment. Was scouring the MySpace profile of the Boudacious one, reading with great interest about her love of Music, Movies, complicated words that end in the words 'ism' and Old medical paraphernalia ! The heart was all a flutter, the vital elements were coming together: The Simpsons, Life of Brian (Bloody Romans!) and even the Mishun!! were there !But then the love train was quickly derailed..
The Ramones and Midget Porn were missing from her list
Every one knows that along with Kevin Smith movies and Kate Beckinsale's bum, every list needs to include the Ramones, Midget Porn and The imprisonment and impending death of that gangly emaciated worthless scumbag Russel Brand !!
Ho hum...Next

Ts ts ts... If the mere absence of these things put you off, it rather sounds like you're looking for excuses NOT to confess to your love, mate. Me, I wouldnae think twice about letting mere details getting in the way of true love. But then, that may be why I write songs about losing them frequently...

A lady admitting to liking Kevin Smith on the internet!?
Thats almost as dangerous for an attractive young lady as walking into a Games Workshop!

Hey, I know loads of women who like Kevin Smith movies ( Chasing Amy, Clerks, Dogma and Mallrats in particular) oh and Jersey Girl !
Admittedly , Clerks 2 was not the master piece it could of been, ten years in the making and it sucked the big one quite badly, which was a shame.
But women do like his movies - No male hunks or girlie leads to go mushy over ( Bloom, Depp etc..) and the involvement of strong female characters and well constructed storylines (Dogma), Chasing Amy)have taken his movies forward - of course Jay does take it back two steps now and then, but that's on purpose as not to make Smith too much of a sell out.
As for women going into Games Workshops - Is that only reserved for single men who still live with their parents then Maisey
Women got themselves the vote through pressure and oppression - its their god given right to go into nerdy shops like everyone else. Bless 'em

I was loathe to click on this topic, thinking "Oh bugger, what have they found out?"
Now I'm thinking "I have always been here before"...
Regarding my omissions from the page - I haven't heard a great deal of the Ramones but from what I have heard I certainly don't
dislike them, and I am growing decidedly irritated with That Russel Brand (though he's not emaciated
enough for my tastes).
Can't honestly say I've ever been a fan of midget pr0n though, am I missing out?

Ok, aside the midget porn and Ms. Beckinsale's amazing rear end ( All hail the genius that is still frame on dvd players) . The Ramones are a must for any music connoisseur's record collection. I urge you Ms. B to seize some downloads of them and open a whole new dimension in your music.
You mention in you MySpace that your more of a fan of 'new' music rather than t.v or movies. The Ramones may well have influenced many of the acts you discover / listen to. Indeed. Mr Eldritch once announced one of his greatest achievements was owning three out four of their autographs.
Download, listen, enjoy and let me know what you think

Pay attention! When I say
new...
... I mean newly discovered! By me. Not "new" as in "in the charts"! Dear lord no. Read the list of bands again my friend... I'm relatively sure a good proportion of them are now defunct.
Why do you think I chill out with all you old gits?

You're such an old cynic, Iz!
(Not that this necessarily means you're
wrong ...)
By the way, I'm really embarrassed that it's been mentioned I "like" the m*****n. I did list them on my Myspace page but they're one of my least favourite "favourite bands", I only like them about one day of the year

Midget Porn - how do they reach it on the top shelf?!
