SISTERS to play Glastonbury

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

It must be true:

Speaking to BBC 6 Music on Wednesday, Mr Eavis said the "biggest band in the world" had contacted him about performing.
"i'm talking about god, devil, hell, do you understand, finally?"

I believe the biggest band in the world at the moment has to be The Arcade Fire. I think there's about 20 of 'em.

I didn't even know (as you may have guessed from the line above).

My vote goes to Rage too then.

Try thinking The Police !

Dodgy rumor they are playing a festival this summer. It's is their 30th anv this year, and rumors haven't stopped since a few years ago when they all met up again in a studio to rehearse for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
End of line.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

:urff: IMO they shouldn't have carried on after Keith died; to carry on after Pete's death too is just taking the p!ss.
