I'm going to see Motörhead !!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I saw them almost every year in Worthing when I lived there.
Always ended up deaf for a couple of days afterwards.

One gig, I saw a drunk guy passed out with his head in one of the bass bins of the PA.
He was still there at the end. Not a case of being deaf, more like ....dead!
Cheers.

Seen them going on 50 times since I was 17. They're still exactly the same live, in fact other than a few newer songs the setlist is the same as it's always been.

Took these in Sherwood forest when they scared the squirrels.

Now that is one of those bands that I have never managed to see even though they play tons of gigs. Have fun!

Unless you want your eardrums to bleed from the amps set to eleven, you'll be needing these. 8)

very definitely my second favourite band -and the one i've seen the most times live, having sen them twelve times since 1987 (rock'n'roll tour, rock city). 8)

although they've been a bit quieter the last couple of times (gaylords at birmingham indoor arena had the sound so low that you could hold a convresation over the top of the band at the front) i've never heard any thing as painfully loud and crystal clear as the march or die tour when i literally couldn't hear a thing for 3 days after. :notworthy:

...and what more needs to be said about lemmy other than that he's 63 this year and still takes speed every day, smokes fags and drinks a bottle of jack daniels for breakfast. an inspiration to us all. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
