I wonder if the French have a version of The Sun saying something like "It's a European plot to stop something typically French!! If we don't watch out they'll make it illegal for the Gare Du Nord and Paris Metro to smell of p*ss."

Seriously though, why do the governments of Europe feel it necessary to get involved? I was perfectly capable of choosing between a restaurant that was non-smoking over a smoking one beforehand, and the staff of these places likewise.

so it's not ok to smoke in the street but it's alright to test nukes in the south pacific when everyone knows the french start wars by surrendering to the germans anyway.
