Program to Rip You Tube Videos

Does anyone know if a program exists? I hate watching these videos on my PC....

There's also a 'VideoDownloader' plugin for Firefox, which rips from YouTube.

You have plugins for that available if you use Firefox, yes.
You can pick the flash files from the temporary files of Windows of you use that (Phut!) Internet Explorer.
You do need a player that is able to handle flash files, Media Player Classic and VLC LAN Player for example. They usually handle awfully, but do their job.
When saving the files you have to rename them to something with .flv as extension, so your pooter knows how to handle then.
Explaining is done faster than searching one of the three or four threads we had on that.

I use "Unplug", a plugin for Firefox, very small-ish and works together with other downloaders as well...
Of course, all video from YouTube is in Flash Video format, so you also need the FLV player or an FLV plugin to play them.
