They remind me of a very embryonic Sultans of Ping FC being buggered by Franz Ferdinand.
In a word they're better than that FGG pish, so aye...they're alreet!

I've been liking them for a bit ."Sheena is a parasite" is a top tune.
Some-one else I know mentioned Sultans of ping f.c. but this time they were being buggered by Inspiral carpets,Where's me jumper indeed!
Bits of Cramps and quite a lot of early Sex fiend to my mind.I could well handle a batcave revival.I've been trying to brainwash my daughter to get into them but she's intent on listening to more and more of that Emo cak.Kids today pah
!

They've been slagged off a lot for being style over substance but they're alright. Me and Mrs Rafster dig the Death in a Chapel song or whatever its called. Early Nick Cave keys....

Bit of a trashy Birthday Party swagger, sometimes a Fuzztones keybord, sometimes Cramps type rhythms. A breath of fresh air in this age of cheeky chappie indie nonsense like Kaiser chiefs, arctic monkeys, Franz ferdinand.
Live though they are a shambolic mess. Completely untogether.
The new singles Gloves is a cracker, out 26 Feb.
Album's out 5 March ...... although it's an unlucky date for them as these two are out the same day .....
but more importantly this is out too

The drummer calls himself Spider Webb.
Nuff said.

... in my days Sheena was a punkrocker, but what the heck.... if that's what the kiddies like today, then why the hell not?
I've never had anything against style over substance, otherwise I would be listening to Phil Collins....

I will admit I saw them on MTV2 (*says ten hail Mary's*) at the weekend, and I wondered what it was..it wasn't that bad actually

That's not going to get you off the hook with Odin though, is it?
He's the one that's really pissed off to see you watching that tripe, Mary's just praying for your soul...
IMHO they're s**t, and I can say that with absolute conviction, without having clicked on that link at all.

Looks like they're supporting Bis in Glasgow in April........that should be a good gig if you miss the support band.

Are they still going? I regretably have to confess
that was my very first gig, when I was 14 (though in my defence my friend dragged me along)
Somehow I doubt a bunch of 30-somethings still have all their

Don't think I've ever heard of them. Now is that pronounced 'Bis' as in rhyming with 'Pi
ss' ... or 'Bis' as in rhyming with 'Pies' (you know, like one of the ingredients in an LGBT sandwich)?

Was drinking in the Leeds Met Uni bar tonight, heavily as to escape the realisation that I was drinking with bloody students, when a Klaxon's video came on. I asked if they were The Horrors.
Basically, I see 'em all as stupid kids with even more stupid hairtcuts, and this from the Blonde Comb-Over Guy, so I know what I'm talking about. Halloween nonsense, and the music doesn't catch my attention one bit.

To be honest from what I've heard ,I like em. The fact that these holier than thou goffick types don't like em makes me like them all the more!!
