Since I wrote a song about the subject of Lilith, I'll go and check them out...

By the way, nice quote from a Primus song you got there... ;)

Very Neph (I know, I'm one to talk ), m*****n and Girls with female vocals. Nae bad at all. They have the epic sound down. But I might need to give their songs another spin or two before I can say if it sticks or not....

Very Neph is exactly what I thought and that riff on " Palm of my hand" is bugging the s**t out of me.Its definately a Neph riff but where's it from?

BTW thanks for the CD Raf.Ace stuff!

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

That riff...

I almost started singing along - "Tempting me, to all of life and all it's pleasues" and "Take the dream". It's Sumerland, almost a Xerox.

Sounded like a mix- up of some Dawnrazor songs to me. The lead is actually doing a slow hashed up version of the lead in 'Trees Come Down'. And 'Breathe sounds like a worked over version of 'Blue Water' with something early of the m*****n mixed in it. Come to think of it, the calmer parts of 'Palm of my Hand' is also very proto- Mishun. 'Wish Away'... Well, that one could have been on FALAA in its entirety, methinks...

1:1 copy of the first 4 musical influences stated on their site. female vocals sound very close to Juliane Reagan.

Where is the own idea/own approach? Take everything away that reminds you of another band and see what's left? Nothing.

just my 2p.

Ah now,you can say that but I remember a certain band that we all know and love being called "Joy division rip-offs","The Stooges with Leonard Cohen on vocals" and "The drugged-up bastard sons of Led Zeppelin" in their early days.
We've all gotta start somewhere and I'd rather hear a band with influences like Children of Lilith than another goth-metal or bleepy techno goth band.

My response is a simple 'meh.' But since we're on myspace bands, I'll pimp out the page of a band who have made what has become one of my favorite records, yet again: http://www.myspace.com/jessicascrime
