Inspired by a thread in trading.

I will admit to my sisters coaster. It was a birthday present from a friend that had it made on a website that did personalised coasters.

Come, I know each and every one of you lot has a guilty item or two.

Oh yeah, and my "Sister of Mercy" badge. :D

I used to be embarassed by my SISTERS 31.7.93 T-Shirt. I bought it because I loved the "Enjoy The Puppet Show" boot, but didn't go to the original gig. The shame.

I ended up giving it away to my then sister-in-law who came over from Malaysia in 2001 to visit and, as her first ever gig, saw the Sisters at the London Astoria. She seemed to really enjoy it, but then again she could have been under the misapprehension that the Sisters were in some way trendy and fashionable.

i had all the cardboard promotional display set for "Flloodland" from HMV once. along with half a dfozen varying large poster sized heavy card logos were two fold-up 12" cubes depicting the cover and inlay of the album. actually i was very proud of them.

first sisters tee i bought was an unofficial one in 1986 with the name in "the cramps"-style lettering with a couple of grim reapers and a few skulls on it in garish red/pink on white. it was fucking expensive at £7 quid too.

And we have a clear winner!

Nothing could top that, unless of course anybody has a Merciful Release condom. :)

To be fair, Factory records put out non musical releases sometimes...

Not exactly merchandise but I once had a sisters birthday cake sometime in the 80s. I'm sure there's a photo somewhere. The MR logo was a bit too hard apparently so It had the Black October logo.

my very talented friend samantha made me a sisters cake with the MR logo in icing. :notworthy: she had only got a cassette sized logo ffrom SGWBM that she sneakily "borrowed" without my knowledge for all of ten minutes to copy it from and it was spot-on. so spot-on in fact that i never ate the cake and kept it on display until it was unrecognisably mouldy.

oh, we could do a thread on goth cakes   quiffy would win, natch :notworthy: :notworthy: but i once attended a b'day party with a christian death cake [very nice too] and my own coffin shaped cake for my 30th, which rather lovingly had R.I.P in big letters

Generally not a fan of tacky merchandise, but even if I was there's no way I could possibly compete with some of the gems on here. :D :notworthy:

Keep them coming!
