I'd like to transfer all my emails and address book from Outlook Express to Outlook (2003).
I've got the old email files on disc and know where the Outlook message store folder is located, but it's a .pst file and I can't simply copy/paste the old emails into it.
Thanks for any help

AFAIK, Outlook gives you the option to import OE files and folders after you installed it...

I recommend installing Thunderbird, or any of the other non-M$FT mail programs. Outlook is as much a virus vector as OE, and unfortunately, the nuisance isn't limited to the people using this infernal crapware.

OTOH, I had a lot of trouble using Thunderbird, resulting in deleted posts, not all posts incoming like it should etc...nowayjose wrote:I recommend installing Thunderbird, or any of the other non-M$FT mail programs. Using it for ages now - both Mac and PC, never encountered any problems! Far better than Outlook Express, I'd say...Izzy HaveMercy wrote:OTOH, I had a lot of trouble using Thunderbird, resulting in deleted posts, not all posts incoming like it should etc...nowayjose wrote:I recommend installing Thunderbird, or any of the other non-M$FT mail programs.
