Fcuk knows mate, I switch off past Birmingham . All I know is...2 very good friends have moved there (back home for them both) and it takes bloody ages to get to from the Sheeples Republic Of West Yoikshire.Ania wrote:Southampton? jo's sister lives in bournemouth. thats how we get down there... its not that much more expensive than the train, and its worth it for the 6 hours of your life it saves

Nice idea, but 3 adults (one a 13 yr old 'adult') and a sprog equals silly money. Took us just over 4 hours last time, I think, can't really say, I'd switched off past Birmingham.Quiff Boy wrote:flyBE from manchester to sarfhampton - takes about 40 minsPlanet Dave wrote:Fcuk knows mate, I switch off past Birmingham . Hello and welcome back Ania

Good laugh when I saw 'em. Well, Ed didn't like my wearing shades indoors, but otherwise they're good harmless fun. So, a dismissive pfft to the nay-sayers...

its not so much SBA who i dont like (though my feelings on them is well documented elsewhere)
anyway, i gather they've gone through a pretty drastic lineup change very recently so gawd knows what they sound like now...
nope. its BTV
i've never been to such a dour, poe-faced (typo deliberate) miserable oh-so-serious Gothic event in my life. listening to dodgy german neo-folk is not cool. nor is it big and clever. and playing it at a nightclub for 12 people is just sad.
they try too hard.
not only that, they have had long-time running battles with other people from the leeds goth scene, and have tried to claim credit in regional newspapers for being the only goth club in leeds
they've done nothing to help promote the local scene outside of their own little clique.
not with a barge-pole mate. not with a barge-pole.
