THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Let's give it it's due recognition as the greatest Sisters B side since Adrenochrome! (Well, that might be overdoing things, but you get my point).
YCBTO, I salute you!
Some appreciative, supportive, 'intellectual', 'deep and meaningful' and even NICE things are being said about this piece of music (heathens!), and I will not stand for any more, no sir!
Let's give it it's due recognition as the worst Sisters B side EVER! (Well, this and Long Train...).
got me. Sign me up, I certainly don't like it, but most of all I hate the way people respond when you say anything bad about YCBTO- while that might just be well-deserved.

and thats my main reason for this society. I have bitten my tongue and not responded to the ycbto thread, but having seen people shot down for, god forbid, having their own opinion, i felt a thread was needed where people could come and let off steam without fear of reprisal.
We dont mind what you say here...everyones opinion is valid ..but you know we are right!
(please note this is written with just a touch of humour intended!!!! )

OK, now after many years, we can split the sisters fans again in two camps. Those who dig the jingle jangle Hussey lurking flower bombs of FALAA at the one side and the Hell ridin' rich Beverly coke kids who wear Vision Thing proudly shining in their pockets: the true members of the YCBTO society!

not true....I equally love FALAA and VT....its just this one tune that I could never bring myself to like all that much. Joke or not, I just dont like the song. hang me if you will.....
Well it takes a while to type anything with your arms in a straightjacket - perhaps it was typed 'by nose' ?
(well surely the 'fans' of this song are clinically insane?)
