from the T-O-N forum:

Support is Brand New Sin and the mighty Celtic Frost! Celtic Frost joins later in the tour, thus far the first date they are on the tour is 4/9. Post updated as new dates come in. Please call venues for information regarding ticket availability, etc, as this is not information website staff normally has.

(3/5 - getting close to the full routing i believe. i actually met the booking agents last night at the cradle of filth show because they book them too. i asked about the pacific northwest and canada but they didn't have anything just yet and may not.)

I won´t miss them if they don´t come near here. The two or three good songs I know of them don`t justify the effort.. :innocent:

 That would be a taste abberation extraordinaire from the man who is approx 33.3 (recurring) per cent responsible for turning me on to Shriekback.

I was just lamenting to a buddy of mine that if only these metal bands didn't *have* to employ their silly "death-grunt"-style vocals, there'd be so much more stuff that I could listen to! GRRRR! :|

What? Type O? He has a stoopid baritone, he don't grunt.

For heavy music with proper singing, try out Life of Agony's album "Ugly".

And pop quiz hotshots - what links these two bands??

Hmmm. Ok, fair enough. Looks like I'm going to have to give them the benefit of the doubt, and listen to some more of their stuff, as I'm not familiar with much of it at all. But, while I like the overall sound of tunes like "Blood & Fire (the 'Out Of The Ashes' mix)" (especially because of the Sabbath/Deep Purple-esque keyboard sound), what's-his-face's melodramatic blabbing of pith in the middle of it put me right off.

Flame away! I can take it...
