On the back of reading this last night I was taken to slap on my Napalm Death 'Nazi Punks f**k Off' t-shirt today. It never harms to drop the point, even if it's not the most subtle way. There was an Asian friend-of-a-friend punched in the face and thrown out of a pub door late last year with "this is our country" laughed in his face. It's not a huge step from this to that.
That a party like that still exists leaves me unsure whether to be properly annoyed or to just laugh.

I saw a Party Political Broadcast by the Green Party last night, they were banging on about public transport, apparently it's so important because, and I quote, "
most people in Glasgow
do not have access to a Car"
, were do they get this pish?

That's not even true in Govan.
Although, round here, "access" to a car usually involves one of these:

It's f**king frightening boys and girls. The sort of council estates I work on(I'm a building contractor to Sandwell council) the people lap up the BNP bullsh'it("Families like you are voting BNP").They really do believe "The darkies are to blame for everything" and Sandwell council have several BNP councellors.
The ironic thing is that the idiots that vote for them are exactly the "workshy scum" the BNP say they'll be targetting(After the darkies and illegal immigrants obviously).
Seriously I think that Saint Tony and his gang have given scum like the BNP a real chance at power by alienating its traditional electorate.

Nah, this doesn't shock me in the least - doesn't even faze me, for that matter. Americans freak out because "the Mexicans are taking our jobs!" Riiiiight. Poor migrant workers...day laborers...housecleaners. Illegal Mexicans "steal" jobs that arrogant Americans don't want and wouldn't do, anyway. Meanwhile, traitorous American companies are gleefully racing to offshore jobs to India et al., sending American jobs overseas to the lowest bidders. And it's not even just the massive faceless corporations: this is now going on where my ex-bf works (my former employer, which made me redundant last year, the sodding b@stards!) - a privately-owned company of no more than 30-35 people. My ex is now fearing for his own job (he's a senior software engineer), and is just waiting for the axe to fall. It's insane. People suck everywhere, I guess.

The unnervingly sick thing is that support for the BNP/NF dropped while Thatcher was in power, and most commentators believe that this is because the type of fuckwits who vote BNP voted for Thatcher because her policies were so similar to those of the BNP.
I'm no fan of Blair's government, but I did expect BNP support to rise because of what the far-right regard as a left-wing government being in power (yes, I know it isn't a left-wing government, but the nutters on the far-right think it is).
Cameron's shifting of the public perception of the Tories from far-right to centre-right (all that touchy-feely green stuff he's spouting at the insistence of his advisors, as opposed to brutal monetarism and that "Save the Pound" nationalistic s**t that they've campaigned on from Thatcher to Duncan-Smith) has meant that the far-right racist/nationalist tories are feeling betrayed by the Tories and have shifted their allegiances to the BNP, further increasing the BNP's share of the vote.
Wankers, the lot of them.

This is of course the downside to free speech.
Still, talking doesn't necessarily mean someone is listening. Hopefully.

Exactly
Don, my initial point was that there now was a BNP Jock Division. I may be ill informed and naive, but I never expected to see them creep north of the Munz 'n' Tattie line.
I honestly thought us
Heiders had a lot more sense than that. I predict an extremely low poll count for them. I think my fellowr MacHeartlanders (and the majority of the populace) will prove me richt, oan this wan.

Anarcho-Communism is the purest form of democracy. And although I'm an anarchist at heart, I have to say allowing these people to vote is what gets us into these problems in the first place.
