Today, Paris is celebrating the 1 year birthday of the first ever show of the Sisters in France, some Sisters flags have been put on every side of the Champs Elysées
More seriously, it was a great moment for all of us french, the end of a 25 years wait !!!!!
We will never forget it ...

As Laurent said : no French HLer complained about the gig.
The Zénith doesn't have such great acoustics, but it wasn't the Girls' fault, was it ?
All I remember from that gig is a true top night out.
AFAIK those who complained seemed for the most part to suffer from a very serious case of nostalgia for the "good old" 80s. I mean, they couldn't be but disappointed !

Well worth the millions of miles I traveled to be there.
Many thanks to all involved
All the footage just helps remember the day!

I'm agree with all what you said, folks. I've just received the video today (Thanks Stu
) and yep, it was a great moment! Too bad that some songs are missing on the video. Particulary, The few seconds before I was wrong when I screamed "Andrew president" (his response was "it don't hurt me" in french please
). Only Tuco who was near me knows the truth but my friends in Brest call me "David vincent" or "Joan of arc" because I'm hearing some voices talking to me
Another good memories but this summer will bring another...

seconded... all the way
I was reading in UTR the other day and Andrew said in an interview that he planned to do a thing in France in 1993.
In the end it took a little bit longer, but they did it
inna fine style and that's what matters

I guess for exactly the same reasons people outside of Heartland or Poison Door complain generally about Sisters gigs these days - to wit, they aren't very good.
But then, people have
always complained about Sisters shows, so it's nothing to get too worried about. There appear to have been a good few thousand perfectly content punters at Zottegem the other week.
