A good friend of mine has to go into Leeds general infirmary for a major operation and her husband needs a cheap hotel or B&B reasonably close to the Hospital.
Any of you Yorkshire puddings know of anywhere?
And for once I really am serious and your help would be appreciated.

I honestly don't know of any-I'll ask around, perhaps the power of Google might be in order..

No idea meself, other than vague mention of an 'Etap' hotel in town, god knows what that is but apparently its cheap.

I guess the best people for an answer are the ones who stay in town on HL weekends, they must by now know every rate in every hotel within a 10 mile radius. Travellodges and the like, or Holiday Inns, or maybe The Comfort Inn. Without knowing precise details, there are plenty of cheap hotels these days. Google away (or ask Claire / The Scottys / etc)

the etap is down the bottom end of town, near the palace pub, just before you head out towards the armories. its pretty new from what i can see but has a sign outside saying rooms are £32 per night (or something like that)

otherwsie, there's an ibis at the opposite end of town (opposite TGIU fridays - a bit nearer to LGI) thats about £50 a night
