Now we know where Elvis went

An earth-like planet was found only 20,5 lightyears away.
That´s quite fascinating, I´d say, As the possibilty for conditions for life as we know it will very probably result in life as we know it. That means lifeforms we´d even recognise as such.
See Stuart A. Kaufmann´s book "At Home in the Universe".
Yet I am glad I don´t live on that planet, as it´s year is only 13 earthdays long. So there probably won´t be seasons, if it has an atmosphere. The temperatures may be rather uncomfy, if the planet exposes one side only to it´s sun which may easily be the case at such a short period of orbit. This would leave one side of the planet burning like the hell and the other cold as the far side of the moon.
Even if that wasn´t the case, I´d have to blame myself for not carrying the rubbish out for half a year.
