FALAA comes in at No2 in the top ten , Rosetta and Rose of A are 'notably inessential'

OK I'll let you know how it goes tonight, they were really good when I saw them about three years ago and played atop version of all the things she gave me!
Don't worry too much about the job thing , it will come in the end, I'm about to embark on all that joy again, girls will be off to school soon, last 4years seem sto have flashed past.
Last time I think I got a nice fat sheaf of about 10 'sorry sir, you're brilliant, but actually we like the man in the suit, whose hair doesn't do crazy things and has a piece of paper saying he's qualified to do the job(but may never have actually done it).
Apply and it will come..........

I went to Inverness once and saw Trainspotting in some 2ww Nissan Hut that was pretending to be a cinema . wHERE do bands play? is it where West Side Story was on, when I went, in I think 1996,
In fact George Chakiras was reprising his original film role..there was great interest

Then I went on some crazy Loch Ness / Alistair Crowley coach trip, lots of snow and red deer at Aviemore and we went on the SLEEPER from Manchester

ooh I'm getting all carried away.............
Think I've got Cabin fever the girls have taken it in turn to have chicken pox an have hardly been out for a month. I'll probably have one too many speckled hens tonight , try and storm the stage during savage earth heart and get wacked over the head by mad mike and his trusty acoustic
Watch the headlines on Monday

Think I'd better go and lie down

Hope all's well with your party of three

Take Care
R

The Ironworks is a new venue in Inverness, I've seen a couple of bands there and it's no' a bad place.

Well I must have walked past the site at some point , I always like venues near railway stations, you can leave it til the last minute to run for the train.
Not abad line up either...shame about Amen, saw them at the Leadmill once , not really my cup of tea , but agreat live show

Have you ever seen Orange Goblin#? I'd like to , not sure if I like them or not bu t reckon they'd be good live

I have and they were monumental in a small venue.

Well worth a punt if you get the chance - I'm most likely seeing them in May as they're playing a local watering hole in Newcastle.

Well Scotty, Mad Mike was on cracking form, heckling the hecklers and generally up for a ruck, he played a good couple of hours and the band were storming.
So definitely go to Inverness if you get a chance
Most of new album was played which was good apart from 'Strange Arrangement' WHICH IS PRETTY DIRE (it also rhymes uranium with cranium)

Plus a large chunk of This is The Sea (which I won't abbreviate)

Moon, Medicine Bow, Old England, Pan Within, Be my Enemy

Also Red Army Blues , Fishermans , Stolen Child, When will we be married' and a rock version of When ye go away

Think that was it, oh no

Peace of Iona and Glastonbury Song

Crackin Night out , dodgy merch mind you, the new logo looked like an ad for Green Belt
I've never been able to get my head around white sweatshirts!

Cheers, I'll try and make the effort, the Levellers are playing a couple of nights after & I'm of to see Fields of the Nephilim in London a couple of weeks after that so I'll have to be an extra good boy  , glad you enjoyed it :D

Nephilim should be interesting don't think I've seen them since the T+C in May 1988.
Who's playing with them? They've been touting around for a guitarist so I hear.

Not sure who the support is :urff: , I'm not expecting much really, it'll be a couple of days away & I'll have a Beer or Ten with weebleswobble 8)

They'll probably start with Submission, then someone will lob a bag of flour, you'll get a mid air explosion and catastrophic flour keyboard interface, Karl will ignite and summon the Fates who will lay waste to the Venue which will all be sucked into the earth, leaving a nice site for some apartment blocks and a subsequent Poltergeist follow up!

So stay in the pub for the first track

and take lots of money!

I went to see PL two weeks ago at The Camden Palace , (I'm sorry it's not KOKO , that just sounds like some burlesque dancers perfume...or perhaps Nicole Kidman's)

£5! for a two zone travel card £3.00 a pint it's dishgraceful!

Mind you, you get a better class of sandwich and true diversity in London
