I've omitted to add the 2nd demo of Valentine as there is not difference between the 2 versions, imo. One is slower (pitched) , the other one is clearer with better sound.
I'm sure I've forgotten a few others tracks and mislabeled some.
So any add or correction is welcome :)

edit : I've got a CD of the famous FALAA WEA mixes too but without any informations on the contents (the different sessions and takes) ?

You forgot to include the URL for easy download of the whole pack, preferrably in lossless flac encoding, of course.

Edit: you may omit Garden of Delight, 'k thanx.

Never heard of a Watch demo. One must exist somewhere, but not for us.

I have an "Amsterdam Demos" tape. AFAIK, all the tracks are EQed versions of the final Body And Soul tracks, with a live track or two, maybe.

Thanks for the infos. I'll edit my first post later

I notice that The Poison Door (different vocals) from WR boot has nothing to do with The Sisters (another band performing live, which band ?).

The mighty GHOST DANCE. 8) :notworthy:

Seriously, if you've not gotten into them, do so. Great guitar-pop band, with Gary Marx providing guitars and songwriting, with a drop-dead gorgeous singer (at least, she was when her hair was pink ).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're fake.
There's also a bootleg album with one side Manchester Oct'84 and the other side is "demos", and they seem to be just EQ'd versions too.

Do we know what "Mack Mix" means? Those 4 songs seem to the vinyl rips of the "Last Magician of Rational Thought" boot, so Mack is probably just a bootleggers messed-up abbreviation of Magician and is probably meaningless.

no the palazzograssi boys used take the tracks from the wea master tape in house, "mack mix" & "Eldritch mix" was wrote on the custom sleeve of the tape[/img]

I saw the 2 WEA cassettes Pete had with custom sleeves and I don't remember seeing anything about mixes written after the song titles, although maybe I only saw one of the tapes not the other, it's too long ago.

The ARAAHP "Mack Mix" is a hundred thousand times better than the "Eldritch Mix"es and the LP version. And even the "Mack Mix" of Walk Away is far superior, why did they lower that superb phaser-effected guitar lick to almost inaudible levels in the LP mix?

Lotsa strange things seemed to have happened with the FALAA LP mixes, as subsequent history has indeed proven.

According to Wayne's sleevenotes for the First Chapter reissue, there should also be an instrumental (or different lyrics) version of Wake to be added to the list.

Are they the real deal or just bootlegs? It's a shame the first two don't have times on them, I wanted to see if my WEA Mixes CD is labelled correctly.

Dan you are a Bible !

I've heard of a so-called "Floodland Mixes" tape including 2 versions of Flood I, Flood II and Driven Like The Snow.
I don't have yet a copy of this and I'd like to know if it's a fake :?:
Here is the attached text with the tape
I've had this tape sitting in a drawer since around 1990. It was just
labelled as "Floodland demos", and the recording was accompanied by a
loud whistle (this is caused by being copied using high-speed dubbing
when there's a TV set close to the machine). I removed as much of the
whistle as I could without affecting the quality of the recording, so
now it's not noticeable except during the quiet bits like at the start
and ends of some songs.

This is obviously another in-house mixes tape, or something of that
sort. The tracks are definitely different, for example the intro of
Driven Like The Snow #1 is longer, and the mix of Lucretia sounds
less busy than the finished version. Also, you can hear that some
tracks seem to be off vinyl, so some of them are probably from
acetates.

Is this rare? I really don't know, and couldn't give a toss, but I
haven't seen it on anyone's list so I suppose it could be.
I now release this to the masses, in the hope that some of the other
people selfishly hoarding the "rare" stuff will do something similar.
After all, we're all Sisters fans, and the net is all about sharing.
I think I'm probably wasting my time though, and Eldritch will release
3 new albums before I get to hear Deinze 1.6.84.

Floodland Mixes - 01 - Driven Like The Snow (#1)
Floodland Mixes - 02 - Flood I (#1)
Floodland Mixes - 03 - Flood II (#1)
Floodland Mixes - 04 - Dominion - Mother Russia
Floodland Mixes - 05 - 1959
Floodland Mixes - 06 - Lucretia My Reflection
Floodland Mixes - 07 - Flood I (#2)
Floodland Mixes - 08 - Driven Like The Snow (#2)
Floodland Mixes - 09 - This Corrosion
Floodland Mixes - 10 - Flood II (#2)
Floodland Mixes - 11 - Neverland (a fragment)
