another cup for Milan A.c. beaten Liverpool 2-1
Now Milan have seven cups and played 3 final matches in five years
this the stongest team in the last 20 years

and I for one am glad the scousers didn't win - but by god can that cheating little weasel Inzaghi possibly be any spawnier? Outplayed for 45 minutes, then the ball bounces off his arse and flies in. Dear lord.
Still, like I say, how excellent that the scousers didn't win.

First goal was completely against the run off play and didn't it come off his arm?
Well done Milan

you are not italian...we all remember a footballer like Inzaghi....in the world championship 1982....Paolo Rossi
I think Benitez was wrong ...I wanted Crouch in the second Half

Well spotted! I'm Mancunian
.
I hadn't noticed any similarity between Rossi and Inzaghi, tbh. I remember Rossi being a class act when we played Juve in the European Cup Winners Cup in the early 80s. I've always thought Inzaghi was a cheating little weasel.

Not to speak about the ref, who was quite unhappy when he remembered he cannot pull the yellow one for a Full Body Contact when two opponents are merely shaking hands
I know a foul is a foul, but he gave them lightly I daresay.
IZ.

The city has been awash with red and white flags and people crawling out of the woodwork 'getting behind the boys' .
Me, I wore my Milan shirt with pride and the greasey haired prima donnas did me proud!!
They were outplayed but took their chances, they got the luck and got the revenge they most dearly deserved.
Now all these fly by night 'die hard Liverpool ' fans who thought they'd win just by turning up can go back to moaning and whinging about divers and bad time keeping.
I'm Blue and I'm bitter..and I love it
Revengo Revengo!!

We played well, but we didn't take our chances (same old same old).
But at least we were there, Milan didn't look too good tonight as we didn't let them play. Unlucky on the first goal, second was well taken. Was Kaka on the pitch?
But we lost. Gutted - it hurts, but no complaints really.
But it does hurt

Nope.
Good but no way the strongest in the last 20.

Indeed, surely man city or leeds are the strongest of the last 20, they're usually found holding the rest of the league up. Boom Boom!

Thousands of Liverpool fans turned up with forged tickets. Nice to see the lessons of Hillsborough being learned there.

And watching them on the news this morning none of it would have been their fault either if something had happened - the authorities should expect it...
I quite like Liverpool the team, but whinging scousers get right on my wick.

you really don't think it...5 cups , 8 final matches played in 18 years no team did the same...just real madrid in the start of champion's cup....but it's another story...too different

Whats all this talk of this insignificant little mini cup?
Next Monday is the important one.
Liverpool my arse (to quote that 'lovable' scouse twit Ricky Tomlinson).

Absolutely right. Rossi was a great player. Also for the national team. He was marvelous on the 1982 World Championships.
Inzaghi is not even the number one striker in the national team. Cheating weasel indeed but also clever.

rossi and inzaghi are similar for interpretation of forward...opportunism is their peculiarity

2 years ago in italy we had a joke about the final match milan-liverpool (3-3)....we say to milan fans: "you know there is a new oven...it's called liverpool...yes...it cooks 11 chickens in 6 mins"
