TSOM drummer: imagine?

How would it look if the Sister had a drummer? This thought always comes to my mind during the drum solo on "Temple of love(1992)".
I mean no disrespect to dr. Avalanche, he does a good job...
Who do you see fit in this role? If someone could fit...
My bet is on the guy who drums on Depeche Mode tours, Christian Eigner.

Excellent!
I don't see Mr. McBrain (best last name ever!) or a similarly "busy" drummer working for The Sisters. I'm currently in awe of Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree- he's just phenominal- but I don't see that kind of playing fitting in too well with The Girls at all.
They would need someone who's more John Bonham- hard hitter, great groove, not a ton of fills- rather than someone who's more Keith Moon. Since Bonham's been dead for about as long as TSOM's been around, I nominate Jeff Burrows from The Tea Party. Canadian band, sorta Doors/Zeppelin meets NIN sound, very cool. He's a total Bonham clone. They broke up a year or two ago, so he should be free.

Nick Mason, he has that deep slow sound we all love, and until Floyd re-form, he's only busy driving his expensive car fleet.

I think that Social Distortion era Chuck Biscuits would be a good shot. He's not too complicated, and he pounds the skins like a motherfucker--besides, how can you dislike a man whose kickdrum bore the legend "Bring me the head of Evan Dando"?

If he was good enough for The Crystals and the Beach Boys, he's more than good enough for the Sissies.
The idea of TSOM performing Da Doo Ron Ron is intruiging.. yet it sends shivers down my spine.

Bass is a whole different matter. The Girls have always used a drum machine and that's very fine, but they do miss a human bass player. The Dok doesn't even have a great bass sound.

I' m just waiting for the day when the Sisters will be only Von(vocals) and dr. Avalanche (one man band)...
Or maybe something like the "dr. Avalanche - solo show" ?
Scary...
