Yes, they were the perfect example of how to sell out and loose all your fans in one go.
They've never topped the classic "Bostin' Steve Austin" album, although watching them live was like watching a bunch of schoolgilrls performing for a dare!
Luckily, I'll always remember them for Love Is the Slug, Rules & Regulations, and that rather groovy cover version of Spirit In The Sky!

Oh and Paul, I'm always playing 1919 at Thursday Fury and The Coven!
Perhaps you'd better start to listen!

Hello and welcome.
Since your new here (too) I'm not even gonna mention the Sisters typo (here either)...

Actually Paul, I'm a f**king liar!
I've just looked back at my past setlists from
The Coven &
Thursday Fury, and realised I've only actually played
1919 once since March 2006!
I'm definately playing them on Saturday (very, very early in the night) and again in July at
Thursday Fury.
Even so, they're a very important part of the post punk/ early goth era and should be sought out at the earilest opportunity

It's
The Sisters Of Mercy...
Apparently one of their standard contract clauses is that The Sisters can pull a gig if the promoters fail to include the word "The".
Well you did ask. (sort of)

What he said.
And I prefer The Sisters
of Mercy as well.
Who said something about
anal?
