A year seems nothing, innit?
Still a lot of strength and courage for you and the girls, Sandra.
And thanks for posting this and remembering this community.
Maybe a small translation for the Englunders (free translation of course

)
"It is hard to believe a year has passed already since Christian passed away.
A year full of sadness and changes.
I want to thank you all again for the donations, the thorought support and the aid in this last year.
You have helped me and the girls a lot with all this, and thus you have shown me how important Christian was for all of you.
We still think about him every day and talk a lot about him!
We miss him a lot!
Sandra, Amelie and Charlotte."

Yes. I never met nor had much to do with the chap, but it was very clear from the comments last night that he was a wonderful person who is much missed.

Yes, I have heard Christian discussed with great affection on several occasions in recent days. I was never fortunate enough to meet him but his love and dedication to his family and friends was plain to see from his posts and the warm memories other Heartlanders keep of him. These things live on.
My best wishes and strength to his family.

My thoughts are with you, Sandra (and family)...I know what you're going through. I've got no wine for a toast, but I'll toast Christian's memory anyway.

I never met Christian in the "real world", but he was a great part of HL. He is sadly missed.

I miss the lovely notes written on medical notepads that used to come with the disks he sent me.
It was a pleasure to meet both of you in Paris.

A year
I'm bad at being emotional, but Christian still is far from forgotten. Fondly remembered indeed, and quite often as well.
Sorry for not being able to tell more, sensible things right now, but once more all my feelings go out to you Sandra, Amélie and Charlotte.
We will never forget.
