Hi all,
my name is DJ Ro Prasad, am a longtime follower of the SISTERS,
ever since I first met Andrew ELDRITCH @ zig zag CLUB IN LONDON UK,
IN 1981 I think, when the sisters were supporting THE BIRTHDAY PARTY.
He was at the gig real early and we chatted most of the afternoon.
Am now a DJ with THE KILLING JOKE SOUND SYSTEM ,
and have just released my debut album with ASHIKA.
The album is goth/darkwave/industrial ....
Regards and Respect
Ro

Well, Ro. You've asked for oppinions.
I think there are good ideas audible, but very poorly executed. So you allready made an album?
Isn't that a bit early to call it such?
But as said, good ideas are there, I guess the rest is work for refinement.

Thanx Eotunun for taking the time out to listen to the trax.
Fortunately for me your opinion is of the minority, and the majority of comments we have received, including opinions from members of bands like :
The m*****n, killing joke, HIM, THE 69 EYES to name a few
have very highly praised the unique DARKWAVE style .

:)

Thanx all for the responses. Am always interested to hear peoples differing opinions about the music of ASHIKA.
I Guess we are just fortunate that the majority of comments are from people who really like the music,

Well, ro, it's a wll known fact: If you want to know what you can improve, ask someone who doesn't like what you do for a good reason.
And mark: I did hear some good ideas. another .
I once was member of a band whose members thought having made noises in some order was having written a song. Sadly so, as some good ideas got wasted that way.

I can make some noise, but not really in any "order," as I dunno one musical note from another. Beats, mainly. Meh. :|

Have been getting a lot of DJ requests,
for the version of POISON DOOR by BAY LAUREL.
Some punters have even dared to say it is better than the original.
Has anyone heard this version?!!
:)

...never heard of Bay Laurel..?

;D Ayupp! And I like it a lot!
But saying "Better than the original" would be a bit daring..
great intro, a good singing voice, very powerfull version. A very nice piece of music, indeed.
 have you been involved??

After a VERY PAINFUL listen. :urff:
The first word that comes to mind is Monotonous..
I believe if you look the word up you will find in the definition allot of words that also could easily be used to describe your music ( tedious, limited etc. ).

You suggest that others have praised your work. Has it ever occurred to you that they just wanted you to continue to buy their stuff and just wanted you to pi$$ off?

Anyway there are some talented people in this forum and I suggest that you take their advice.

Kaneechiwa :D
