Just been listening to Marc Rileys radio show where Iggy is interviewed by Stuart Grundy in 1976 [from the BBC website, previously broadcast on the 12th July], had to pass on the quote. . .
SM: Raw Power has been called 'rubbish rock', 'stupid rock', . . .
IP: . . .and it has been called the 'Ultimate Blowtorch Of Savage Nihilism'. . .
SM: How would you call it?
IP: I would call it the 'Ultimate Blowtorch Of Savage Nihilism'.

SM: If The Stones are 'dirty', you are 'filthy'. . .
IP: That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me today! Seriously!
