They played it on BBC6 this morning.
Not bad for a pensioner. However, afterwards they said it sounded like PJ Harvey. No it doesn't.
PJ Harvey is the greatest female artist ever. Fact - so don't argue.

I think she looks great. Carpy would agree with me there, if he was around.
Songs good too. About time she released something with a bit of attitude again.
Not sure about the pj harvey reference though.
I thought more "softcore" Marylin Manson :notworthy:

Is it just me or is that outfit a little reminiscent of 'More'

My word she is a foxy old bird.

There's only one. It's her bloody fault I'm here in the first place

If I'm kicking it with half as much style when I'm pushing 50, I will be a very happy lady indeed.

Sounds interesting, it's a pity her voice is shot as far as the Banshees songs goes.
But if this new stuff is written around her present range could be the best for a while.

Meanwhile..........

Ops, in a bit of a minority on this one then, I thought it sounded like the same tired old 'been peddled a million times before' kind of sound and probably largely due to a dwindling bank balance!
And if it sounds THAT crap from the studio I'd give any forthcoming tour a hugely wide berth!
Only saw them once befre, on the peekaboo tour, what a steaming pile of sh!t! an hour and a half of new album crap which sounded sh!t in both music quality as well as sound reproduction then goes off, comes on and does a five song encore of old faves which partially salvaged the night but still a load of old pish!

Ach, yer just being an old grouch, bushman.

This is pretty fine, a decent choon with bags of style. Not her best for sure, but far better than we had any right to expect. Pity about the Bohemian Raspberry effects in the video, but you can't have everything.

I never said anything about the song, I just wanna see her play Standing There. ;D

Nah, really, the backing does sound quite generic. But it's still Siouxsie, it's still a notch or two above the rest. If she needs a better instrumentalist, she can always ask me for help. ;D
