...well, my mum's attic, as it happens. A quick trip back to the ancestral manor house (sorry I didn't have time for a quick pint, PiB) and a trawl through a box of stuff yielded a stack of Sisters press clippings from when I was a yoof.

Here's a link to all of it on PhotoBucket

In addition, there was some stuff that wasn't really scanable, so here goes:

Quotes of the Year (Melody Maker - December 22 1990)
Andrew Eldritch
"Never trust the French." (Jan 6)
"Good just doesn't cut it. There's no point in being good if you can be great." (Jan 6)
"I can quote Shakespeare like som people can play jazz chords." (Jan 13)
"Very civilized people, the Dutch. I'd live in Holland if they weren't so damn boring." (Jan 13)
"I truly believe that you can tell how intelligent a woman is by the way she moves her hips. I really do think you can. And I hope there's something about my hips that screams intelligence at 10,000 people every time I take the stage." (Oct 6)
"I don't necessarily agree with everything I think." (Oct 6)

Depends where we could have found a spot at the bar - I hear that Peel was up to its inbred eyeballs in celtic folk, but maybe the Creg Malin would have done the job.
