Heartland Weekend Request Thread!

As requested, a request thread.

Music requests only please, although we'll allow for a generous interpretation of the term.

Ideally it would be useful if you also mention which days you'd be there, so I don't end up playing some obscure b-side on the Friday for someone who's only coming to the gig or something!

Got anything by the Sisters?

(Well, someone had to.)

I'll second the Fall idea and add some classic Banshees and a bit of Rosetta or Rose of Avalanche.

Oh, and if you want to see some fun drop "You Could Be The One" right in the middle of Saturday night and watch the battle lines get drawn.....

Bugger, can't think of a list as impressive as last year's this quick. I'll just have to depend on the great taste you all have :notworthy:

I'd guess those bouncing violently around the dancefloor will win that little battle, if it comes to a bruise count.

I'll second that emoticon. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

"Orion" by Metallica would be lovely. but I can't help feeling that not all would enjoy it as much as some of us would.

OoOoOoOdles of EBM for me, please - I'm bringing my big boots to stomp in! ;D \m/

And I'd adore hearing Gruesome Twosome's "Hallucination Generation," too.

And some Skinny Puppy...and some KMFDM, and some FLA, too, and XPQ-21, if you have any...and I almost forgot, anything by the Thrill Kill Kult would be most appreciated!

Oh, and lots of old, bouncy-bassy New Wave would be lovely, if you don't mind...and Adam and the Ants, and Siouxsie, and PWEI, and Love and Rockets, and the Timelords' "Doctorin' the Tardis" would kick some serious arse, and oooooh! maybe some old techno, too, like Utah Saints and Messiah, and...

Yeah, I should probably quit while I'm ahead.

Erika, I suspect you may be better catered for on the Saturday night / Sunday morning knees-up. 8)

(although I've never heard of half of those bands  )

Still, best set of requests so far, by some way (apart from the Daft Punk number :innocent: )

Some hours of Atomic Kitten. Best if it's one track on repeat to emphasize the effect.
To tease you lot, as I can't be there.
And to tease Scotty, as he won't be there if I kept track correctly. ;D
