Who or what is Rhombus, please, and why should I be listening to them?
What's that? A ditty called "Shove It Up Sideways"?
Now I'm intrigued!

Really good actually. Quite busy. Nice mixed crowd, promoter happy.
From what some people were telling me it marked a bit of a return to form for the place. Things had been going down hill. They've just removed a promoter who wasn't performing and letting things slip.
We'll be back there next year.

Must be 10 years since I was last in. It's now the last survivor of the 3 alt/rock type boozers we used to frequent in Ashton. Criminally, they bulldozed The Spread Eagle and built a Lidl in its place.

Ha ha , you're playing at the Angel. That's my old neck of the woods.
The sound quality there is terrible. You'd be better off trying to get a gig at Esquires. At least they have a better sound system and a much bigger place. But it is goth night there on Saturday.
Say hi to my friend Liz for me!
Best pub to go to is The Bear which is down the High St (about 2 minutes walk from the Angel) opposite The Bankers Draft pub.
Have a good show!

New PA luckily. Spec looks good.
It's a goth club night we're guests at, so should be good
I shall pass on your regards
