Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

i've decided to bid on it - purely because steve's auction mentions me. i think its quite amusing that someone namechecked in the description is actually a bidder

I've never heard them, tho I did see them walk off stage at the QMU when they supported The Mis ssion

Rosetta Stone win. End of. (Though not as much as Ghost Dance).
As for Rose of Avalanche, as much as I love the name, I've never heard them. Any song(s) in particular that I should find?

Funny, they pulled the same trick at Coasters in Edinburgh (same tour). Mind you, the singer had just had a full pint expertly chucked at him
Despite all that, I like them...but I'm still not bidding

OK, the grand total will go to the heartland Paypal fund. Although, there may not be a total as Quiffy is the only bidder at the moment.
Dark, try LA Rain the singles collection for their superb output from 1985-87, but definately avoid anything after 1989.
