That topic's still a little close to home for me

Suffice to say - vile. Utterly, utterly vile :urff:

If I'm in the mood for a corporate 'bun' with 'meat', I'll have a double whopper with cheese and country potatoes. Which is not often...

If they'd actually use some meat, why not. But seeing the burger is in fact mostly cardboard I think I'd rather pass :urff:

I'm going with Raf here, Whoppers are better, and use actual veggies and meat. :D

Fcuking shocking abuse of trades descriptions in that the word "big" is included in the name.
Still, if it was bigger, then it would be even more disgusting.
What's with those bl00dy gherkin things?

:urff:

I simply don't get it.

A guy shooting another guy in the street gets a life-time sentence (well, not REALLY, but you get the point)

A corporation killing off people for forty years now, gets a pat on the back and a happy birthday card :|

I say: feck off MacDo.

Here's 15000 BigMacs, one fer each day of your existence. They are for the management and they cannot leave before they eat them all up...

At one of the many Subway establishments in Leeds recently, actually I think it was in Harrogate...

Me: "One foot long Italian BMT (pepperoni, salami, ham) on Italian herb bread with double cheese, toasted, with lettuce, tomato and red onion, loads of jalepenos and hot chilli sauce....

Bloke: "My my sir... you certainly like it hot..."

If only he knew how right he was :innocent: ;D

Oh you poor deluded child!

You should be well aware, every time you eat a Whopper, that it is being made by someone who has probably just had to change the bins/clean the toilets and is shouted at to get to the "Burger Board" before being given a second to run their hands under water (never mind the 20 seconds scrubbing with sanitizer etc. which they claim to enforce - I never saw it happen once). I was the only person there who washed their hands at all... and even then, they got so filthy that I would scrub up to the elbows like I was at a mosque on my lunchbreak, so I could eat my own food without getting it all manky
Burgers were dropped on the (dirty) floor... just picked up and used anyway. VOM :urff:
I would never have eaten a burger that I made, put it that way. They really are horrible places.

Where 'fast food' is concerned there are many things I'd choose before a burger, to be honest. I've eaten loads in younger years but now I'm happier with a tray of sushi/sashimi and an ice-cold green tea.

Only time I have a slice of cow now tends to be if I make one myself.....

I know that it isn't the world's best food (if it can be described using that word), but I'm not adverse to having a couple of them a year.

My 6 year old daughter is really taken by the advertising and she is always on at us to have some "McDonalds tasty food" :urff:
But we rarely give in.

Damn them and their oh-too effective advertisments with movie blockbuster tie-ins.

Damn, I knew I had to have lunch at one of those  :notworthy:

When it comes to spicy sandwiches I like this Belgian classic a lot :D Needs a good spoonful of Sambal too apart from all sorts of pepper, mustard and tabasco though 8) (and they forgot - quite essential - Worcester sauce!)

I usually go to Wendys or A&W for my burger fix.

Although some days, your body craves for a Big Mac. Don't know why, must be years of some chemical dependance that only Big Macs have in them.

Subway rule although Quiznos are better as they toast their bread.
