Started this thread because I felt that there was a real need for a venting/whining/wailing thread for those issues not necessarily of the enraged variety...
At any rate, I'm currently gutted because I just read that Luciano Pavarotti's died. There goes a lovely man and a stunning voice.

Seriously now, that man surely was the best entertainer of the famous classic singers.
I guess most of the time he had on earth was a good one, so let's say it's a gain he was here.

but I would be completely secluded from the inhabitants there. Last week in my usual pub I've met a group of 6 scotsmen trying to chat me up. I absolutely could not understand ONE single word they've said. My reply was: You guys have a funny accent. Their reply was: No YOU have a funny accent.

Currently gutted because my step mum is having a kidney transplant in 2 weeks, and my mum is having a hip reconstrution the same day!
They are too young for all this...not even 60 yet

and best of all a solo show there in feburary,
all most definitely welcome
@st hope they are all ok, if its any consolation both of those operations
have become quite commonplace and
although not to be taken lightly they should both be ok in no time.

Exactly what I was gonna say. Definitely life-changing ops, but with very high success rates. My thoughts are with you and all your family ST.
