autumnal equinox, kiddies!

Just celebrated it with a nice walk. It's almost summer temperaturewise over here.

The party I was at last night was an equinox party so i guess it must be winter now.

Nope. Autumn. Winter is due on december 21st.

it's autumn! you can't have winter until the winter solstice!
or, in our case, when the heating goes on - last week!

I was taught that there are only 2 seasons - summer and winter -

summer: 21st March/21st Sept............mid summer 21st June

winter: 22nd Sept/ 20th March.............mid winter 21st Dec
