Currently Recruiting:- Female Soccer players

Greetings all - after my Faux Pas last night, I thought I would try and make amends with the following:-
The Raven Queen has suggested that she would like to captain a female soccer team, tenuously called Heartland XXX (- something - your suggestions please?) - I suggested that as a very lanky spider-type female person, she should be in goal ...
So, presumably this team would require a sponsor - Not 'Northern Wreck' of course ... Merciful Release perhaps?
I have done (a little) research on all of this, and it seems as though this could be a new thread, although I'm open to chastisement of course (ooh, whip me more!)

What?! Tsk, tsk,
reactiv8 - first, that's a fib. Second, you're embarrassing me!
I only said that I'd consider
playing on such a team. Pfffft!
ETA: and for the last time, I don't WANT to play goal!
Grrrrr.

Well, I just read a study from Sweden (or was it Finland?) that claims that footy burns more calories and fat than jogging. Plus, it's far more fun, and potentially hazardous. Hooray!

I was so glad we never had to play rugby against the girls. They'd have f**king slaughtered us.
Seriously, first mixed PE lessons we had were in Y11, and we were playing hockey. One lesson in and I noticed my finger had been bleeding from an impact injury for a good few minutes.
They'd managed to injure me with a
hockey stick and I didn't even feel it. Imagine what they could have done on a rugby pitch.

Oh Steve, honestly!
You wanna see if there's any goths play for man city - as big a bunch of girls as i've ever seen.
Can just picture Ms Strange diving in with a studs-up two-footed lunge at some poor saps ankles. Ouch!

foot-ball needs a whole body-train....
but swim is better to tone up all muscles
moreover, football is hazardous for your knees (ligaments, cartilages)

Agreed. However, I dunno how to swim, and there are no free indoor pools here.

For the goal celebration do they pull their shirts over their heads?
And do they swap shirts at the end of the match?
