So, I've heard (& love) that Mother Earth song, but I need more info from you peeps.
Which album should I get first? Which is the best one? Do most of the songs sound similar to Mother Earth or was that a one off opera metal hybrid?
Ta, Purp.

I though that was basically all they did.

A) None.
B) One of a different band.
C) To me they sound like the same old lump of grass ruminated a hundred times.

Never heard anything of theirs, so (as usual) I can't be of any assistance.

I first heard them on a compilation, "Gothic Love" I think. The track that was on there was Caged. GREAT song! Their new album has been getting a lot of radio play in my neck of the woods, I don't dig the new cd as much as I like Mother Earth.

I liked them when they were still underground
The 'Enter' album and pre is much more death/doom with 'Beauty and the Beast' vocals, eg female voice and male death grunt. Much more interesting than the over-polished Narnia goth operas they s**t out these days
IZ.

Is that the band that sounds like Meat Loaf except it's a woman singer?
I tell you what, had Bonnie Tyler released "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" now rather than back in the 80s, the "goth" kiddies would be all over her like ants at a picnic.

Blimey Alister, sounds like a band that needs to be shoved in the same bottom drawer as 'missionuk' to me.
Only heard one song of theirs, vid was this girl floatin around a spaceship - thought it was a decent song actually, but was simply a pop song. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now if you'd asked who the fck this ere comedy-miserable 'cure' band are, you might've been on safer ground.

I have a horrible feeling that a friend of mine is rather heavily into them.
Seriously, if you're gonna get something symphonic, get a Rhapsody album or something. Or at least wait until all us teenagers have "grown up" and no longer like that music.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some crappy Bauhaus records to consider putting on, then ignore.

Christ on a bike I wasn't expecting this reaction!
Stay away seems to be the general consensus.
Sox to Quiffy especially, I still haven't even got hold of that stuff you wrote down for me at the last p*ss up & I'm listening to this crap!

Hey, go ahead and listen, you may like it. Just seems to be the general opinion here that most don't.

I must admit to having a ticket for WT at Barrowlands in December, so there!
Their new album has some ok tracks, but that said I haven't heard any of their early ones.
