Simple, but a bit extensive question.
Who wrote the lyrics, who wrote the music to all Sisters songs?

From the FALAA booklet I know that
words:
Andrew Eldritch: all, except Gary Marx: Poison Door
music:
That Guitarist: Black Planet, Walk Away, A Rock and a Hard Place, Marian, Blood Money
Gary Marx: First and Last and Always, Nine While Nine, Amphetamine Logic, Some Kind of Stranger, Poison Door
Andrew Eldritch: Long Train, Bury Me Deep, On The Wire
Craig Adams+Gary Marx+That Guitarist: No Time to Cry
Craig Adams+Andrew Eldritch+ That Guitarist: Possession

but unfortunately the Floodland issue doesn't contain the credits in the booklet and of the rest I simply have no idea.

EDIT: I forgot to say but I still don't understand how things went Gift-Floodland.. Did just gather Vega, Ray and Fox and say "kkthxbai" and kicked them out to make Floodland? Why didn't they stay now that they had a band?

furthermore, quick look on the booklet of the re-issued "floodland" page # 15 (not including "cover" of booklet") right to the "THANK YOU", first line

"Floodland ... written by Andrew Eldritch except Emma(...)

The Vision Thing songs were written by Eldritch and Bruhn, right?

From SGWBM:

Andrew: `Hughes' is a man and `Seeman' a woman. They both are songwriters and wrote ten years ago a song called `Two Worlds Apart'. With out my contribution `Under The Gun' is `Two Worlds Apart'. I've practically taken over the song from them.

Yes. Except for Finland Red, Egypt White. The author is unknown as its lyrics are from the operations manual for the AK-47.

BTW, out of curiosity, what makes you think that TOL '92 is any different, musically and lyrically, to the original? It's a re-recording of the same song. (The same goes for Train/Long Train(1984) and Alice '93).

@Syber: I just went past all songs that weren't mentioned yet and put them in but forgot that TOL is same as TOL '83. I guess Alice '93 struck me as more of a "remake" than TOL.

One last complication is that Craig has in the past claimed that he's due a credit for ToL (no reference available for that at the mo), and may even be due credit for some of the Reptile House material (http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/cl ... html#misc3).

I feel the same way about Alice '93. I'm still trying to make my mind up about which version I prefer.

@mh Apparently Craig was seriously peeved about the credits on SGWBM missing him out.

I thought the music to Body and Soul was Hussey's first contribution? If not, I'll need another explanation of its general crapness...

Andrew once stated he rewrote Two Worlds Apart into Under The Gun.
Some people say it is a cover....kind of.

not at home right now so unable to check but from memory i was sure that the 12" label to No Time To Cry credited Blood Money and Bury Me Deep solely to Eldritch.
