please please please please please please please please please tell me this is some sick muzac jornos fantasy!!!!
This re-release of a 1995 European album (under the East West label) represents Brightman's foray into the world of electronica, which may surprise some fans of the acclaimed singer who have long associated her with the Broadway and classical genres. Beginning with a sound most associated with the former +Phantom of the Opera star (although the international smash "Time to Say Goodbye" did not appear on the original release), the music quickly turns to a Euro-techno style offset by a pop/rock tone, with a couple of romantic ballads thrown in for good measure. Although it may be difficult to get one's hands on this gem, being that it's an import, it's certainly worth the effort. Included in this set are the German hits "Question of Honor," a techno/rock/dance number interlaced with opera and written for boxer Henry Mask; "How Can Heaven Love Me," a duet with Manfred Mann's Earth Band's lead singer, Chris Thompson; and a lovely pop ballad, "Heaven Is Here." Even more obscure is a rock duet with singer Tom Jones called "Something in the Air," with obscure being the perfect word to describe this entire outing by an international superstar who seems to rise to the occasion of any musical challenge. While there isn't a cohesive feel to this album as is the case with her later releases, it's still quite enjoyable to listen to Brightman take on what is usually left to the vocally challenged disco/pop queens gracing the Top 40 and dance clubs of America. In fact, one will more than likely find themselves spinning this CD many times over, being impressed with its ability to remain timeless thanks to the appeal of its performer. ~ Daniel Malich, All Music Guide

Methy this is the one that prompted someone to mention Milton, and "he who should not be named" to mention that german philosopher superman bloke
and therefore indirectly caused WWIII in the "other place"

I got the MP3 somewhere, Sarah does here thing and then at the end Von comes on a mumbles something in German.
I'm off on another summer holiday, so no noticeboard until next week for me.

I was told about this years ago, not long after the original release maybe, but wasn't able to even find the album so wasn't able to confirm it. I'd long forgotten about it. Any chance anyone could upload it somewhere.

I'm back from my holiday now, a day early
I'll dig it out and upload it to whoever PMs me with their FTP details when I get back to work on Wednesday.
So far I've got one taker.

After much searching through many poorly labelled CDRs I have now found the track.
It's really quite dire, Sarah and some other bloke doing a duet with Von coming in towards the end.
She's right though, how can heaven (or anyone else) love her?

If there are any ftp servers currently running can someone please tell me. Of other music I like theres a wealth of material to download all over the net, but with the Sisters I can find absolitely NOTHING!
Was one of the ftp's called the Depository (or Repository, I forget)? The reason I ask is recently on alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.gothic-industrial someone uploaded the Floodland album, so I download it to save me the time of getting the vinyl out and doing it myself. The ID3 tag said The Depository/Repository(whichever) and it was the most appalling rip full of pops, skips & errors so I deleted it. Bugger it, I'll get the vinyl out and do it myself.

OK, to my shame I did it:
Die Welt ein Tor
Zu tausend Wüsten stumm und kalt
Wer das verlor, was du verlorst
Macht nirgends halt
means something like:
The world is a gate
Thousend deserts dumb and cold
That man who lost what you lost
Is stopped by nothing
