You know, when I was ten I found a book in my school library that taught me how to make R/C models that fly.
I didn't have an R/C set for much longer, but I made a lot of gliders that did fly.
There we have a bunch of adults who don't manage to make it *fly*. Sorry, but I am less than impressed.
Nice idea, though, a pity for that nice model.

I threw my Millenium Falcon down the stairs when I was a kid coz I thought it would fly. I was uspet when I found out in didn't.

Pah pah pah! Nothing less than a 1:1 scale fully functional At-At Walker will suffice. Imagine the fun to be had simply getting to and from work?

It probably would have worked if it had been a TIE fighter.

Highlights for me were:

a) The first few seconds when it's got a fantastically direct and smooth thrust....

and

b) The punters running from the falling debris at the end

Instead of using rockets, maybe they should've used 4 of these and built it out of metal instead of wood.

LOL, that was a bit crap. Moving wings? Aluminium rods?
It just looked like a large firework rocket with the stick removed and a load of bits of cardboard glued on. It certainly flew like it.
