i have a new found respect for the guy
and speaking from a purely chronological' perspective i think it makes perfect sense for them to open the whole thing

Joking aside, it's actually a fairly positive move on Wayne's part to acknowledge this element of his band's past in such a fashion, so respect and kudos to him for that.
