That article refers to The Girls as "1980's goth legends" - guess they must be goffs, then...

Glad that's settled.

Ooohwww, the guitar would be a nice souvenir indeed ....
Btw, I didn't know he smashed a guitar in Brasil? Nice , but kinda cliché, though...

just noticed, the guitar will be hard to play without pick-ups and most important: WITHOUT NECK !!!

I know Chris pretty well, and I'm pretty sure he's not the kind of guy who would smash up instruments routinely out of respect for the instrument, and because he knows what it's like to be a kid who can't afford to buy guitars! So at an "educated guess" I'd say it probably suffered a heinous injury onstage, at which point you might as well go the whole hog and smash the f*ck out of it!!

Considering it's a Les Paul where the neck is _glued in_ (not just fixed with screws and hence replacable), the "guitar" is probably irreparably destroyed.
The pickups should still be under the metal covers, btw.

Well, this is tonight! If anyone off here comes, please come say hi to me. I'm always up for meeting weirdos off the internet, being one myself.
Thanks for being so nice and letting me "spam" your forum, it's a lovely place! In a scary goth way, of course.

Fab item, I hope you get good coinage for it.
If I wasn't so utterly strapped, I'd pop over myself.
Although we wouldn't be able to come say hi to you Jon, there's no saddo wierdy internet nerds round these parts.

First of all...not all Les Pauls have a neck that's glued on..some of them are bolt-on. We don't even know if this is a Gibson or an Epiphone..or some other dodgy brand. The metal covers ARE the pu's.. More interesting to me is the 4th autograph on the guitar....never seen Nurse sign anything before..but then that could be just me..
However....playing this baby without a neck and bridge would be pretty tricky indeed. ;-0
