Floorshow demo?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I just bought this bootleg on sight, floorshow, lights, teachers-adrenochrome 7" for £8
says its 42/1000. I dunno anything about it.... if someone could shed some light on this I'd greatly appreciate it, and if it's worth anything.

Hi there new person!

This is the (first?) Sisters demo (at least in circulation) from 1981, and has been widely reissued in many formats. Difficult to say if your copy is worth much, but I'd say 8 quid is decent enough for a bootleg seven incher.

Check out Weeding and Sharing for more goodness.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

There were 3 issues for this if I remember correctly. I've got one of the 2nd ones and think I paid 10 quid for it back in the early 90s.

What is the code written on the back of the sleeve?

Bought a copy some years ago on a record fair for a few Euro's. They pop up on Ebay regularly (I believe there's even one for sale at the moment).

It's also worth mentioning that the 'Floorshow E.P.' is absolutely fantastic. Floorshow rocks, Lights is much better than the released version, and Teachers / Adrenochrome also has much more energy than the released version. You could call it an early peak...
