Don't eat too much naughty candy or scare any old ladies to death, kiddies! ;) :P

Getting pished and destroying is allowed, though, naturally...

Being a Celt, I guess I'd better wish you all a happy New Year

I just wonder how it went from a night to remember loved ones that have passed on while the living and dead are at their closest.........to the kids in crap costumes, laden with eggs, roaming the streets in feral packs after cash? Somewhat of a shame where it's at, non?

Regardless of that, do have a good night, folks!

Aye. :(

For what it's worth, I'll be accompanying my bro and his 2 adorable little boys (disguised as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jango Fett - these kiddies have taste! ;D) around their 'hood, collecting naughty sweet treats (in which I won't be indulging, of course ;)) whilst generally making a nuisance of myself, as usual. I'll be in costume as well, incidentally. Muahahaha!

None of that going on around here.
Virtually everyone has gone to where they come from in the country & tomorow (day of the dead, believe it or not) they will be out at the cemetaries lighting candles & laying flowers. The cemetaries look amazing at night with all the candles there.

It is beautiful. I would take a pic & post it, but it seems a bit disrespectful IMO.
The thing is that anyone can go & light a candle etc. & spend some time remembering someone special.
Fcukin' intense feeling really.

Just feels like the exact thing this day/night was always meant to be.

It quite repairs my faith in (Halloween) human nature......

Sounds like every other night of the year to me! Aside from the eggs.

The bangers are absolutely mental my way though, a colleague in work described it as "like downtown Beirut" today. I pity the poor moggies and pooches.

I never went out on Halloween. :(
Probably because, as we all know, if you're young enough to go out trick-or-treating, there are 32767 murderous paedophiles hiding behind every tree.
