Here's a joke I read on a Sign Language site while I was browsing for info on Sign Language........
This site gives all the instruction needed to learn sign language from the letters of the alphabet right up to putting sentances together so it is a legitimate site, here's the link to it to prove it.......

There are some really great ones on there.
A fellow who had a little too much to drink is driving home from the city one night, and of course, his car is weaving all over the road.
A cop pulls him over. "So," says the cop to the driver, where have ya been?"
"Why, I've been to the pub of course," slurs the drunk
"Well," says the cop, "it looks like you've had quite a few to drink this evening."
"I did all right," the drunk says with a smile.
"Did you know," says the cop, standing straight and folding his arms across his chest, "that a few intersections back, your wife fell out of your car?"
"Oh, thank heavens," sighs the drunk. "For a minute there, I thought I'd gone deaf."
I Couldn't resist it.......
Here's another one from the same site......
An old man was wondering if his wife had a hearing problem.
So one night, he stood behind her while she was sitting in her lounge chair.
He spoke softly to her, "Honey, can you hear me?"
There was no response.
He moved a little closer and said again, "Honey, can you hear me?"
Still, there was no response.
Finally he moved right behind her and said, "Honey, can you hear me?"
She replied, "For the third time, Yes!"
On a serious note, I guess we should all be thankful for having our hearing so that we can appreciate being able to listen to music rather than just feeling it through vibrations in wooden floors or whatever shouldn't we? (Even if at some gigs the sound is really bad anyway, at least we can destinguish that it is bad whereas deaf or hard of hearing people can't). So lets all be thankful of that.
Maybe there are times when we wish we were deaf so that we wouldn't have to listen to something but at least in those cases we could always Walk Away couldn't we ????
