nod politely;
always have somewhere urgent to attend;
never say " pop around and make yourself at home"; - not unless you want a dozen badly-disintegrating lorries/caravans and there attendant work-shy, soap-dodging anarchist owners parked on your front lawn for six months. trying to sell you the big issue whilst playing "the age of aquarius" on a penny-whistle once owned by jim morrison's hairdresser
(maaaaan).

1. I rarely do anything politely.

b. I'm going nowhere - and fast.

pi. Well, that might actually be rather lovely - but it would entail about 4000+ miles' worth of travel for the aforementioned smelly circus, and I ain't footing the bill. ;D

my truck couldn't have made it round the corner let alone trans-atlantic. :oops!:

and i object to "smelly circus"..."aromaticly-dysfunctional nomads" or "traditionally scented itinerant drug-fiends is less offensive (a condition i acheive only when i'm up-wind of people)

Unfortunately for me, I have the nose of a bloodhound. Are you trying to kill me, sir? :eek:

The notion of a dysfunctional nomadic existence appeals quite a bit, though. Hmm... I'll have to do without the enhanced perception bit (*cough*), and I'll need some soap and water, but still... Hmm. :von:
