An owl encounter
:
In the late eighties I took a walk with my doggess (<= Umm, Sinnie, now you see where the confusion came from?) late at dawn when a shadow came across a field towards me without making a noise and apparently intended to land on me..
I said something an waggled my hands which made the owl understand that I am not a fencepole or whatever it might have thought I was, so when it only was ten feet from my head anymore (Where it seemed to intend to land..) it turned around and was off..
..or did I pass the 'man or mouse'-test in favour of malehood?
