Last time I saw a Sisters tribute act was way back in 2006 at Leeds University. They were alright, I guess

2 of this band i had a chance to heard live. only one - lilith (support band for "night by night") was good. second- interzone - about 2.5 - 3 years ago - nothing special. leader is a psycho-fanatic-fan of :von: they even use a drum machine named prof. destruktor- if i remember rightly + woman on vocal. i remember that they were covered "Alice" i they did this without any invention.
another 2 (ceti and monstergod) i only heard the name, but Ceti is a band founded by one of legend of polish heavy me(n)tal, so it might be good.

i definitely will not buy this one not because it's polish, but because i simply didn't heard good or even listen-able cover of sisters song most were a shade of a shadow of sisters songs.

in the same way as bjorn again are the definitive abba tribute, the smurphs negate any need for other sisters tributes.
Q when is a tribute not a tribute?
Awhen it's a cover version.

I meant tribute collection CDs, not all cover versions existing.
so the list is:

1. FIRST AND LAST AND FOREVER – A Tribute To The Sisters Of Mercy (1993)
2. MONOCHROME – A Tribute To The Sisters Of Mercy (1995)
3. A MERCIFUL TRIBUTE TO THE SISTERS (by BAY LAUREL, THE MIST OF AVALON, FUNHOUSE and other Swedish bands, 2000)
4. THE VIOLENT HOUR – A Tribute To The Sisters Of Mercy (2001)
5. THANK YOU! A Tribute To The Sisters Of Mercy (2002)

after hearing "ribbons": it sounds really better than most of the tracks on the other tribute-albums. maybe i should give a listen to the record when it's released.
*NOTE TO MYSELF: DON'T JUDGE A RECORD BY IT'S COVER*
