When Andrew talks about feeling animals deep inside (and ignoring the obvious RSPCA concerns this gives rise to) what particular species to you think the zoo keeper has in mind?

Shetland Pony? Spiggy the cat? Or is this another oblique Patsy reference?

All insights duly considered.

? You think AE felt sick? You feel sick? Have a lie down.

I like the Steve Coogan sketch where (if I remember right) Steve is a third rate salesman who every morning psyches himself up by going "grr" in front of the mirror and telling himself "remember, today you are a tiger". Maybe that's what Andrew does too.

As Von could be said to be "The Englishman Abroad" - it just has to be a Llama - (re Monty Python!)

It's evidently a naked mole rat.

Good grief that little mole fellow is a tad aesthetically challenged...

My vote is for badger.

I mean consider the facts: shy, unseen most of the time, fiercely intelligent, a bit growly, quintessentially English and wearing a spanking costume. Love 'em.
