can you date this gig?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

doh! oh yeah....

set list:

falaa (the intro has pan pipes ffs! :D )
ribbons
come together
crash and burn
body electric
will i dream
dominion/mother russia
summer
flood i
alice
giving ground
suzanne
romeo down
on the wire/teachers
anaconda
vision thing
---
war on drugs
capricorn
i didnt know i loved you...
---
snub nose
temple of love

as for von quips?

- he speaks some german between falaa & ribbons
- he announces c&b as "this is called crash and burn"
- will i dream begins with him saying "and thats.....and thats all"
- flood i ends with "like the sea, sea, sea....<echo>" and then "thanks"
- he speaks a little more german, then says they dont take requests before suzanne, then during the intro says "but your very flirtatious" ;D
- more german at the start of romeo down
- he says "and the hallway moves... like the ocean moves..." at the end of romeo down/start of on the wire
- anaconda starts with a "kick!" or something..?!?!?
- vision thing starts with "ladies and gentlemen let me introduce you to your diva!" (the recording of the song itself is a little distorted)
- temple ends with a strange little guitar riff and von saying something like "onk!" or whatever :urff: ;D

that any help? :)

my guess is that it was from 2001 - from the mini tour of europe just after the birthday gigs... i remember mention on dominion of the "slow" version of body electric around that time? :?:

right, now i'm off to watch "capricorn one" ;)

Yay! I'm useful ;D
glad to help, even if I had been asleep for an hour already.

So, should I build a "gig search" query into my site? Will someone help me with the drop down menus for the date search :?: :innocent:
